ALLY Psychiatry is seeking a PRN Psychiatrist to provide inpatient psychiatric care at Live Oak Mental Health & Wellness in Charleston, South Carolina.

This flexible PRN opportunity is ideal for a psychiatrist looking for additional clinical work, supplemental income, or a flexible schedule while providing coverage for weekends, holidays, and provider vacation time.
The psychiatrist will work as part of a collaborative behavioral health team alongside mid-level psychiatric providers, providing inpatient psychiatric treatment and supporting the overall care of patients in the facility.

What You'll Do
As a PRN Psychiatrist, you will provide psychiatric evaluation, treatment, and medication management for patients receiving inpatient behavioral health services.
Responsibilities may include:
Provide inpatient psychiatric evaluations and treatment
Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments
Develop individualized treatment plans
Provide psychiatric medication management
Monitor patient progress and response to treatment
Participate in treatment planning and clinical decision-making
Collaborate with mid-level psychiatric providers
Communicate with nursing staff and other members of the multidisciplinary treatment team
Provide coverage during weekends, holidays, and psychiatrist vacations
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care
W-2 or 1099 Options
W-2 and 1099 opportunities are available for qualified psychiatrists.

Requirements
Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist (MD or DO)
Active and unrestricted medical license applicable to South Carolina
Inpatient psychiatry experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and medication-management skills
Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary behavioral health environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently while partnering with other psychiatric providers
Willingness to provide PRN weekend, holiday, and vacation coverage
