How you’ll contribute
A Speech Pathologist Who Excels in This Role
- Performs patient assessment
- Establish a plan of care
- Provides care in accordance with physician's orders and established plan of care
- Assesses the effectiveness of treatment and modifies treatment to achieve goals
- Plans for patient discharge. Communicates with patient, family, caregivers, significant other, and members of the healthcare team to achieve rehabilitation goals and promote maximum benefits of care
- Participates in performance improvement and program development activities

What We’re Looking For
A Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders, or similarly titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Additional requirements include: Current
- Current Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Current Basic Life Support/CPR card

Key Responsibilities
The Speech Pathologist will perform patient assessments, establish care plans, and provide treatment in accordance with physician orders. They will also monitor treatment effectiveness, plan for patient discharge, and collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve rehabilitation goals.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field acceptable to ASHA. Additionally, a current Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license and a Basic Life Support/CPR card are required.
