Join Nemours Children's Health as a Mental Health Therapist – Integrated Behavioral Health in Orlando, Florida, United States. Mental Health Therapist (LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW), Kissimmee JOB DESCRIPTION This position is part of an innovative project to improve access to behavioral health for children at their doctor’s office. This is part of the Primary Care Integrated Behavioral Health Program.

Key Responsibilities

• The therapist will conduct assessments of the patient’s biopsychosocial situation and establish goals.

• Periodically reassess the patient situation and modify plan as needed.

• Provide services to address emotional and social needs of patients receiving care in their medical home.

• Work with the multidisciplinary team to address the mental and behavioral health needs of the patients.

Requirements

• Interface with insurance providers, case managers and others involved in the authorization of needed patient services.

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships across disciplines.

• Keep appraised of community resources and provide families with resource specific information. Position Requirements

• Full Licensure by Florida Board of Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy and Mental Health counseling is REQUIRED.
