Physicians will manage inpatient and outpatient patient care responsibilities, with opportunities to participate in or develop clinical research studies, and teach fellows and residents. A unique aspect includes virtual consult coverage supporting care via an innovative econsult platform, allowing for some weeks of flexibility working from home.
Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology, requiring an ACGME 2-year Classical Hematology fellowship in addition to a 3-year combined fellowship. The role focuses on Classical Hematology without malignant hematology or oncology care responsibilities.
