Certified Peer Counselor

Key Responsibilities

Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to individuals with mental illness to enhance their access to permanent housing and recovery. Assist clients with activities of daily living, employment referrals, and navigating social and medical services.

Requirements

Must be a Certified Peer Counselor or be able to obtain certification within six months of employment. Requires strong communication skills and a commitment to the rights of people with severe mental illness.
