The pharmacist is responsible for the efficient, ethical, and lawful compounding and dispensing of prescription pharmaceuticals while advising customers on medication use. They also oversee pharmacy technicians, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and a valid Pharmacy License in the state of operation. A minimum of three years of experience in a pharmaceutical department is required, along with strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and HIPAA regulations.
