About the Role
Join BAART Programs as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor – Outpatient Clinic in United States. Compassionate Substance Use Counselor Needed! Position Overview: Substance abuse counselor will be in charge with assisting patients through medically assisting treatments and offering techniques for handling opioid addiction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual counseling services; direct service hours at regularly scheduled intervals; coordinate all services throughout treatment.
- Conducts individual initial assessment and evaluation interviews for service eligibility determination.
- Completes Bio-psychosocial assessment.
- Facilitates, establishes and reviews with each patient the initial treatment plan.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Behavioral Science Field with 1 year of experience.
- LASAC (Associate Substance Abuse Counselor in AZ) or higher Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals a plus.
- Must demonstrate a positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude toward our patient population.
Work Schedule
- Full-Time position.
