Job Description
Therapist will provide intensive outpatient community-based services, in the client’s home, to individuals with serious mental illness and psychosis (e. g., schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, or other mood disorders accompanied by psychosis) and co-occurring substance abuse disorders.
Therapist will carry a primary caseload of approximately 10 clients and will provide services to all clients on the PACT team as needed, including therapy utilizing evidence-based practices, case management, and rehabilitative services, both in individual and group settings.
Therapist will assist with assessment and treatment planning and co-occurring substance abuse disorders and is responsible for ODMHSAS and Medicaid billing.
Requirements A Master´s degree in Social Work or its equivalent from an accredited school. Knowledge and experience in early childhood mental health, individual, group and family therapy. Knowledge and experience in conducting mental health assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning.
Must be licensed as an LSCW, LPC or LMFT in the State of Oklahoma or under supervision for licensure. Must possess a valid Driver License and satisfactory driving record and use personal automobile to travel to locations other than primary office.
This job is classified as a “safety-sensitive” position as defined by the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act. Due to the “safety-sensitive” classification, an employee in this position would be subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing.
Marijuana is one of the substances included in the drug panel screening.
Possession of a medical marijuana license will not excuse you from the testing process or the consequences of testing positive for marijuana per the Family & Children’s Services Drug Free Workplace Policy, including possible revocation of a job offer or dismissal from employment.
