Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care | Full-Time | Tucson, AZ - E. Broadway Rd.

Location: 2510 E Broadway Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85716 - Cross Streets: E Broadway Blvd & S Tucson Blvd Status: Full‑Time Schedule: Three 12‑hour shifts per week; standard clinic hours are 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, seven days a week; every other weekend and occasional holidays required.

Compensation: $60-$80/hour (based on experience) + monthly productivity bonus Benefits: Full-benefits package available

Position Summary

We are seeking a Full‑Time clinician to join our team in Tucson, AZ on E.

Broadway Rd. This role is ideal for clinicians who value variety, autonomy, and meaningful community impact while practicing in a fast‑paced, well‑supported urgent care environment.

The work is engaging and varied, with a broad patient population and generally low‑acuity presentations that keep skills sharp without the pressure of inpatient follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management (as applicable)
• Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
• Code and bill services appropriately
• Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
• Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Arizona license
• National board certification or eligibility, as applicable
• PA: NCCPA certification
• NP: ANCC or AANP certification
• Active DEA license
• Ability to treat patients of all ages
• Active BLS certification
• EHR proficiency
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
• DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (paid training and fees)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast‑track experience
• Strong procedural skills (e. g., suturing, splinting, wound care)
• Experience with initial x‑ray interpretation prior to radiology over‑read
