Job Description
School-based Behavioral Health Therapist – School Based Heath Center
Family Health Care is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Therapist for our school-based health center team. This is a full-time (40 hrs/week), year-round position with no weekend or on-call expectations. School-based health centers are located within a school and focus on providing need-driven, comprehensive services that are easily accessible to youth and their family.

Specific Qualifications and Educational Requirements
Master’s degree from an accredited program in social work, counseling, family and marriage therapy.
Currently licensed in the state of Michigan as a clinical social worker, professional counselor, family/marriage therapist
1-3 years of experience in a behavioral health setting providing evidenced-based mental health services to children, adolescents, and/or adults
Effective communication and time management skills
Essential Job Functions
Work independently to provide outpatient mental health services that include brief interventions and consultations, and follow-up services to youth aged 5-21
Complete clinical documentation in an electronic health record system
Comply with Mandated Reporting requirements
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Participate in outreach events at the school and in the community
