Job Description
The Lead Clinical Pharmacist Specialist role combines advanced direct patient care with clinical and operational leadership to support the growth and integration of inpatient pharmacy services.
Provides advanced specialty clinical pharmacy services, including formulary management, medication use standardization, and direct patient care and provider collaboration. Will serve as a clinical and operational lead within a team-based environment, supporting workflow optimization and inpatient service expansion.
Optimizes medication management processes, including formulary oversight and workflow improvements, ensuring compliance. Drives quality improvement and research efforts with staff, residents, and students.
Supports high standards in care quality, safety, and patient satisfaction, including Epic optimization and smart pump library reviews. Develops and refines medication-use workflows aligned with regulatory standards and best practices. Monitors key clinical and operational metrics to guide continuous improvement.
Will mentor pharmacists, residents, and students through clinical leadership and practice development.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy or PharmD Required
- Other PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or a relevant combination of education and experience Required
Experience
- 3 years experience in institutional Hospital Pharmacy practice Required
- 1 year experience in Hospital Administration Preferred
- Licenses
- PA Pharmacist License Required
- Board of Pharmacy Specialties Preferred

Requirements
