Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for delivering primary or specialty care services, which includes performing assessments, diagnoses, and prescribing medical therapeutic corrective measures in collaboration with a physician. They actively participate as a healthcare team member, engaging patients, families, and caregivers in coordinating patient care.

Licensure & Certifications

Minimum requirements include graduation from accredited Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner programs, along with three years of professional nursing experience in a clinical setting, though two years of Nurse Practitioner experience is preferred. Candidates must hold Pennsylvania licensure, NP certification, BLS, DEA registration, and be Board Certified by AANP or ANCC.
