Full-Time Clinical-Track Faculty: Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing (School of Nursing)

Key Responsibilities

This is a teaching-intensive, clinical track faculty role primarily responsible for educating undergraduate and graduate nursing students in behavioral and mental health clinical areas, while also supporting curriculum development and serving as an academic advisor and mentor. Faculty will also engage in service to the school, university, and profession, and may participate in scholarly activities.

Requirements

Candidates must possess an unencumbered RN and APRN license in Connecticut, hold Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification, and have a doctoral degree in nursing or a related field. Required qualifications also include current clinical practice as a PMHNP or certified psychiatric clinical nurse specialist, and evidence of effective teaching and service.
