Key Responsibilities

• Assures continuity by obtaining hospital privileges at designated hospitals and collaborates with other professionals and community agencies.

• Practices within the legal and ethical guidelines established by the Medical Practice Act, the Physicians Code of Ethics and the Specialty Standards of Practice.

• Analytical – Synthesizes complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses reasoning and experience to complement data; Designs work flows and procedures.

• Technical Skills – Assesses own strengths and weaknesses; Pursues training and development opportunities; Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; Shares expertise with others.

Requirements

• Education and/or Experience. Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO). Board Certification or eligibility in Family Medicine.

• Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.

• Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
