• Seeking a board-certified/eligible emergency medicine physician to join York

Hospital's Department of Emergency Medicine.

• York Hospital is a Level 1 Regional Resource Trauma Center, handling over

90,000 annual visits from a geographically diverse catchment area.

• York Hospital is a Comprehensive Stroke Center, STEMI center, and

ECMO-capable Facility

• Collaborate with a team of physicians, advanced practice providers, and 39 emergency medicine residents and fellows
• Academic opportunities include faculty appointments with affiliated medical schools, access to a research department, well-developed ultrasound department, and an integrated EMS system

Minimum Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses

• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training

• Completion of an Emergency Medicine residency. Upon Hire Required and
• Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of York Hospital. Upon Hire

Required And

• Must be credentialed for all core procedures. Upon Hire Required
• Certification as an Emergency Medical Commander. Upon Hire Preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Clinical skills and knowledge of emergency care, techniques and procedures.
• Teaching skills.
