At Animal Medical Center in Claremore, Oklahoma, caring for animals is a lifelong commitment. Led by Dr. Gilsleider, who brings more than 40 years of veterinary experience, our team combines deep clinical knowledge with a personal connection to the animals and families we serve.
Our practice brings together companion-animal medicine, exotic pet care, and large-animal services. From preventive care and dentistry to surgery, reproductive medicine, and farm visits, that breadth offers plenty to stay interested in—and opportunities to learn from different cases and perspectives.

Essential Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Care for patients through wellness visits, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Perform dental and surgical procedures, building on your current skills and experience.
- Help clients understand their animals’ health and feel confident in care decisions.
- Work with our veterinarians and support team to coordinate thoughtful patient care.
- Maintain clear medical records to support continuity of care.
- Bring your interests, share ideas, and continue growing as a veterinarian.

Pay Range
USD $100,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /Yr.
Key Responsibilities
The Associate DVM will provide comprehensive medical care, including wellness visits, diagnostics, and surgical procedures for companion, exotic, and large animals. They will also coordinate patient care with the team and communicate effectively with clients regarding treatment decisions.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a DVM or equivalent degree and be eligible for veterinary licensure in Oklahoma. The role is open to both new graduates and experienced veterinarians who demonstrate a caring approach and a commitment to collaborative learning.
