About the Role

Join Canopy Children's Solutions as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - MYPAC/Outpatient Clinic - Jackson, MS in United States.

Key Responsibilities

Oversight of the psychiatric care of all clients served;

Provide general psychiatric diagnosis and treatment to include assessments, histories and medication management;

Prescribe, direct, and administer psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders;

Examine laboratory or diagnostic tests on individuals served to provide information on general physical condition and mental disorder;

Requirements

Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nurse practitioner program;

Maintains active professional liability insurance;

Must have a valid DEA number;

Active Mississippi Medicaid number
