Key Responsibilities
The Respiratory Therapist will perform diagnostic tests such as blood gas analysis and deliver prescribed respiratory therapies to patients. They are also responsible for responding to medical emergencies, maintaining equipment, and educating patients and families on care plans.
Requirements
Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy school and hold a valid NC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential. The role requires active certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP, along with strong critical thinking and decisive judgment skills.
