Job Description
The Section of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center is seeking a Genitourinary (GU) Medical Oncologist.
This rapidly expanding, multi-disciplinary program is focused on providing exceptional clinical care and performing high-impact research in GU oncology. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in GU medical oncology and a track record of collaboration in a multi-disciplinary care team.
Opportunities within the program include participation in and leadership in clinical trials and collaborations with investigators pursuing a range of basic, translational, and health care delivery research projects.
The successful candidate will also engage in teaching students, residents, and fellows in ambulatory and inpatient settings. Opportunities for leadership in medical education are also available
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide exceptional clinical care within a multi-disciplinary GU oncology program and lead high-impact research initiatives. Additionally, they will engage in teaching students, residents, and fellows in both ambulatory and inpatient clinical settings.
Requirements
Candidates must possess an MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree and be board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology. Applicants are also required to be licensed or eligible for a medical license in the state of Massachusetts.
