The Clinical Neuropsychologist is responsible for the care provided to patients, ensuring appropriate and necessary medical record documentation consistent with medical staff rules. This role involves applying specialized knowledge of brain-behavior relationships in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with various neurological, neurodevelopmental, and psychiatric conditions.
Applicants must possess a PsyD. degree accredited by APA or CPA, or obtain a board waiver, and must have successfully cared for at least 60 patients requiring clinical neuropsychologist services in the last 24 months or completed a program in the last 12 months. Candidates need current licensure as a Psychologist specializing in Clinical Neuropsychology in the state of practice and successful completion of postdoctoral or residency training in clinical neuropsychology.
