Key Responsibilities
- Counsel outpatients and other patients during office visits Examine or conduct laboratory or diagnostic tests on patient to provide information on general physical condition and mental disorder.
- Advise and inform guardians, relatives, and significant others of patients' conditions and treatment.
Requirements
- successfully completed an accredited residency training program in Psychiatry.
- Candidates must hold a current, active, and unrestricted California medical license and be board certified in Psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
- The candidate must also possess and maintain a current DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate.
- Candidates must have CPR (BLS Provider) certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
