Key Responsibilities

Counsel outpatients and other patients during office visits Examine or conduct laboratory or diagnostic tests on patient to provide information on general physical condition and mental disorder.

Advise and inform guardians, relatives, and significant others of patients' conditions and treatment.

Requirements

successfully completed an accredited residency training program in Psychiatry.

Candidates must hold a current, active, and unrestricted California medical license and be board certified in Psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

The candidate must also possess and maintain a current DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate.

Candidates must have CPR (BLS Provider) certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
