Key Responsibilities
The Behavioral Technician provides physical and emotional care to clients with mental illness or developmental delays while actively participating in safety management and crisis intervention. They also collaborate on treatment planning, assist with daily living activities, and maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and medication administration.
Requirements
Candidates should have at least six months of post-high school education in behavioral sciences or equivalent experience. A CNA certification or one to two years of college education is preferred.
