Explore a New Opportunity in Gastroenterology! Capital Medical Group (CMG), formerly known as GW Medical Faculty Associates, is seeking a full-time Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our outpatient GI team in Washington, DC.

This opportunity offers an experienced GI NP a predictable Monday-Friday schedule with no nights, no weekends, and no call, along with dedicated mentorship and the support of a collaborative academic practice.

Practice at the top of your license while caring for a diverse patient population alongside an experienced team of physicians and APPs.

Position Overview

  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Schedule/Hours: Monday–Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
  • Call: None
  • Nights/Weekends: None
  • Patient Volume: Varies
  • Location: Capital Medical Group; Foggy Bottom, Washington, DC
  • Practice Setting: Outpatient Clinic
  • Support/Care Team: 5 physicians, 3 APPs, with MAs and RNs in clinic
  • EMR/Technology: Epic

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care for a diverse adult and geriatric patient population
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage common gastrointestinal conditions
  • Provide GI screenings, work-ups, follow-up and post-surgical care while managing a panel of patients with chronic GI conditions
  • Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, residents, and medical students to support coordinated patient care
  • Deliver patient-centered care within a collaborative academic practice
  • Document clinical encounters using Epic EMR

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $130K-$152K range, based upon experience and scope of work

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of Nurse Practitioner experience following completion of NP training
  • Gastroenterology experience required
  • New graduate NPs will not be considered for this position

Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of one year of Nurse Practitioner experience, specifically in gastroenterology, and hold active or eligible Washington, DC licensure. Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner is required for this position.
