Key Responsibilities
The physician provides direct primary care to patients in their homes and residential facilities while supervising nurse practitioners. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating chronic and acute conditions, ordering diagnostic tests, and prescribing medications.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an M.D. or D.O. degree and possess a valid Kentucky medical license with DEA registration. Board certification or eligibility is required, along with reliable transportation for home visits.
