Key Responsibilities
The clinical pharmacist is responsible for conducting accurate medication order reviews and ensuring safe medication preparation and distribution. They also provide education to staff and students while contributing to departmental quality assurance and cost-reduction initiatives.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a B.S. or PharmD degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy and possess or be eligible for a Connecticut Pharmacist License. Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency or equivalent hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.
