Job Description
Lake Highland Prep’s Therapy Services department seeks a part-time Occupational Therapist to provide services for all grades, PreK through 12th grade, to support students in and out of the classroom and provide education to parents and teachers. This support consists of identification and intervention, including sensory integration therapy and skill-building exercises to improve fine motor skills, visual perceptual and motor skills, social-emotional development, and executive functioning skills.
This is a part-time, non-benefited, 10-month, exempt position.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required
- Florida licensure as an Occupational Therapist required
- 3 years of pediatric work experience with partial experience in a school setting/environment preferred

Responsibilities include conducting sensory integration therapy, improving motor and executive functioning skills, and providing guidance to parents and teachers.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy and possess a valid Florida licensure. A minimum of 3 years of pediatric work experience, preferably within a school environment, is required.
