Substance Use Disorder Counselor

Join BAART Programs as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor in Utah. Compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor Needed! Position Overview: Substance abuse counselors will be in charge with assisting patients through medically assisting programs and offering techniques for handling opioid addiction.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling services; direct service hours at regularly scheduled intervals; coordinate all services throughout treatment.

• Respond, as needed, to patient grievances and complaints.

• Develop aftercare plans and discharge plans.

• Involve families and significant others in patient’s recovery process whenever possible.

Requirements

• Must hold an ASUDC, CASUDC, CASUDC-I, SUDC, CSUDC, CSUD-I, LMHC, CMHC, LPS, LCSW, CSW, or SSW in the state of Utah.

• Associates and/or bachelor’s in behavioral sciences.
