INPATIENT THERAPIST-MILITARY AND VETERANS PROGRAM

Join Universal Health Services as a Inpatient Therapist – Military & Veterans Program in Orlando, Florida. Responsibilities Who We Are University Behavioral Center of Orlando, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS), is committed to providing intensive mental health services to children, adolescents and adults as well as detox and substance abuse programs for adults.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and conduct educational, therapeutic, and/or support groups.

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, health care team members and community providers regarding patient status and progress.

• Responsible for discharge plans including scheduling of appointments and communication with parents and significant family contacts.

Requirements

• Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field.

• Experience: Program Therapist requires a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills. Military experience required.

• License: LCSW, LMSW, license to practice in the State of Florida.
