Opportunity Highlights

Intermountain Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our established and growing cardiovascular team.

You'll Collaborate With

• 1 Non-Invasive Cardiologist
• 2 Interventional Cardiologists
• 1 Electrophysiologist

Experienced Advanced Practice Providers

• Join a well-established cardiovascular program at Cedar City Heart Clinic
• Current practice includes one physician and two Advanced Practice Providers

Shared Call Responsibilities

Approximately one weekend every two months

Approximately One Weeknight Every Two Weeks

Hospital call is supported through our regional network in St. George

Regional Cardiovascular Excellence

• As part of Intermountain Health's cardiovascular network, you'll be closely connected with the highly respected team at Southwest Cardiology in St. George, which includes specialists in:
• Interventional Cardiology
• Electrophysiology
• Heart Failure
• Advanced Cardiac Imaging

Structural Heart Disease

The program is further enhanced by a robust cardiothoracic surgery team and comprehensive cardiovascular services throughout Southern Utah.

How We'll Support You

Compensation

Our competitive compensation consists of a base salary of $718,000. Additionally, there is up to $100,000 of quality bonuses available in year 2. We are also offering a $30,000 starting bonus. A relocation bonus is also available if applicable.

What You’ll Bring

• We hire people, not words on paper. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:
• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• Residency trained and Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
• Candidate requiring visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis
• Will consider new fellows
• Ability to perform TEEs and read Nuc, Echo

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
