Key Responsibilities

Ability to diagnosis and treatment of mental illness, psychological assessment/testing, psychological evaluations, and crisis intervention.

Supports and provides direction for the psychiatric and behavioral health care delivery system and coordinates with the other functions within the institution.

Meets regularly with the site mental health and medical staff for mental health issues as requested.

Requirements

POSITION REQUIREMENTS Minimum Education Completion from an accredited medical school facility with a degree in Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.

) or Doctor Psychology (Psy.

Current, unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state is located (maintain a current copy of license on file at the facility at all times).

Minimum Work Experience Experience with mental health delivery systems.
