Key Responsibilities

• Utilizing their recovery experience, the PRS will educate, and role model the values of every individual’s recovery experience.

• Educates and role models effective coping techniques and self-help strategies.

• Assist patients in developing goals for their recovery.

• Provide interventions to assist the client with reaching their recovery goals.

Requirements

• Certified Peer Specialist OR employment commitment to become a Certified Peer.

• Specialist (recognized by Recover Wyoming).

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• A personal lived experience with substance use disorder and/or mental health experience.

Work Schedule

• Contract position.

Work with University of Wyoming in Casper, Wyoming.
