Job Description

The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a leading healthcare organization in Russellville, AL, to recruit an experienced and qualified Orthopedic Surgeon to join a growing surgical practice serving a diverse patient population.

This opportunity offers a strong volume of orthopedic cases, experienced OR support, and a collaborative clinical team committed to surgical excellence.

Schedule: Full-Time | Weekends & holidays as required

About This Opportunity

  • 3 modern operating rooms + 2 arthroscopy towers
  • Support from Surgical techs, NPs, and PAs
  • Inpatient EHR: Medhost + Outpatient EHR: eClinicalWorks
  • Practice currently has no residents, robotic systems are not in use, and the call schedule, including weekends and holidays, will be determined upon discussion.
  • What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive orthopedic care to a diverse patient population
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of orthopedic conditions and injuries
  • Perform general orthopedic and trauma procedures
  • Collaborate with surgical, clinical, and support teams to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Participate in an on-call schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Education, Experience, Licensure and Certifications
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Active and unrestricted Alabama medical license
  • Previous experience providing comprehensive orthopedic care
  • Additional Skills and Attributes

  • Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Requirements

Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school and be board certified or eligible in Orthopedic Surgery. An active and unrestricted Alabama medical license is required for this role.
