Crisis Counselor

Key Responsibilities

The Crisis Counselor provides essential services including crisis intervention, supportive counseling, risk assessment, and ongoing case management for children and families referred by the Child Protection Team (CPT). Key tasks involve clinical assessment, establishing treatment plans, collaborating with legal and protective services, and providing direct therapeutic and crisis support.

Licensure & Certifications

Candidates must possess a Master's degree in a behavioral science and hold a relevant clinical license such as LMSW, LCSW, LPC, or LPC Associate. A minimum of two years of experience is required, specifically involving case management services for child victims of abuse, crisis support, and counseling.
