Part-Time 988 Crisis Counselor

Key Responsibilities

The crisis counselor will conduct comprehensive individual assessments, evaluate suicidal/homicidal risk, and maintain client confidentiality while performing timely EMR documentation. Responsibilities also include developing treatment plans, presenting cases to psychiatrists, providing crisis intervention, and acting as a client advocate to coordinate necessary services.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master's degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field, with clinical licensure being preferred. Essential qualifications include excellent verbal and written communication skills, good organizational and documentation abilities, computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, knowledge of DSM V, and familiarity with community agencies.
