Job Description
White Horse Village (WHV), a retirement community located in Newtown Square, PA is seeking Speech Language Pathologists to our team! White Horse Village is an active senior living community offering a full range of living options and healthcare services.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in senior living settings. This role is essential in providing high-quality speech therapy services to residents, focusing on early intervention strategies to enhance communication skills and overall patient care.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, incorporating evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and other healthcare professionals to support the resident's needs.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
- Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in speech therapy, anatomy knowledge, physiology knowledge, and medical terminology.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Previous senior living experience working with senior populations is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and language development.
- Familiarity with early intervention practices and patient care techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
