- Salary Range: $301,000.00 - $311,000.00 Salary/yearJob Shift: 1Job Category: PhysicianPhysician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Psychiatrist - Nocturnist - CPEP to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center. To this day, Jacobi remains a respected leader in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, burn care, pediatrics, primary care, and women’s health. Our Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) is a state-of-the-art emergency psychiatry service. The CPEP provides a spectrum of multidisciplinary services designed to meet the needs of our diverse clientele in the most effective and least restrictive manner possible. Our 11,000 square-foot modern service includes separate pediatric and adult waiting areas, patient interview rooms, a patient holding area, and six extended observation beds. The Jacobi CPEP has approximately 700 registrations per month and has an embedded Mobile Crisis Team that makes up to 75 visits per month. Because the Behavioral Healthcare Services Department of Jacobi has large Inpatient, Outpatient, and Addiction Services, the patients evaluated in our CPEP are mostly then treated within our continuum of care. Opportunity Details: Be the primary psychiatrist in charge during the overnight hours in our CPEP. Conduct psychiatric evaluations and manage acute psychiatric presentations. Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in the electronic health record in a timely manner. Coordination of disposition planning in conjunction with Social Workers, Physician Assistants, and other medical staff. Documentation of incidents in conjunction with other members of the treatment team. Support psychiatric emergencies and crisis intervention during the shift. Provide psychiatric consultation to the medical emergency room. Responsible for the pro

## Qualifications Active New York State Medical License. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry. Wages and Benefits Include: Annual Base Salary: $301,000* (board eligible); $311,000* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $475,100

Key Responsibilities
The psychiatrist will serve as the primary provider during overnight hours in the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program, conducting evaluations and managing acute presentations. Requirements
