About the Role

As a Radiation Therapist, you will integrate theoretical and clinical knowledge, technical competence and patient interaction skills to provide safe and accurate radiation treatment with compassion. You will be working with a multidisciplinary team of Radiation Oncologist, Medical Physicist, Medical Dosimetrist and Oncology Nurses within Division of Radiation Oncology to deliver the best care for patients undergoing Radiation Treatment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver accurate radiation treatment through proper operation of radiotherapy and ancillary equipment by observing radiation safety measures and practice standards.

Provides good individual patients' care and services with regards to routine radiotherapy and pre-treatment procedures.

Perform daily quality assurance checks and ensure that treatment machines, accessories and other supportive equipment are in good working order.

Assist and work with senior radiation therapists/ dosimetrists in the area of fabrication of immobilization devices and treatment accessories, CT-simulation, treatment planning, external beam radiotherapy and brachytherapy.

Participate in quality improvement in enhancing treatment techniques and workflow and participate actively in continuous education and self-development.

Job Requirements

Degree in Radiotherapy

Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills with a good ability in writing skills

Team player, meticulous and possess good critical thinking and problem solving skills
