Key Responsibilities

The Behavioral Health Counselor provides comprehensive assessment, counseling, and crisis stabilization services to individuals and families in various community settings. They collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop person-centered treatment plans and ensure accurate documentation within the electronic health record system.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in counseling, social work, or clinical psychology and possess at least four years of experience in mental health or substance abuse. A valid New Mexico licensure as an LISW, LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC is required, along with the ability to pass a stringent background investigation.
