Key Responsibilities

Prepare medications by reviewing and interpreting prescribed medications orders, detecting therapeutic incompatibilities.

Direct and verify pharmacy technician order fulfillment; verifying their order entry data, medication preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals

Correspond with lead pharmacy technician on daily RX capacity to ensure effective workflow and efficient medication delivery

Provide pharmacological information to facilities and other health care professionals on drug interaction, side effects, dosage and storage of pharmaceutical’s

Requirements

Active Kentucky Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License

Must complete continuing education as required by Kentucky Department of Health Education Requirements:

Graduate of a College of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent Additional position information: After hours on

call rotation 1 weekend about every 5

Work Schedule

Part-Time position.

Call responsibilities required.

Weekend coverage may be required.
