About the Role

Join UAB St. Vincent's as a Occupational Medicine Physician – Part-Time, No Call in United States.

Key Responsibilities

Occupational Injury care with main focus on difficult injuries and workcomp claims.

Fitness for Duty evaluations Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.

WorkComp claims management and oversight, not limited to causality statements, MMI/PPD, Collaboration with specialists Internal collaboration with Safety, ERGO etc.

at the spot Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.

Requirements

-; appeal all denials in a timely manner.

Participates in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules.

Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
