About the Role

Join UAB St. Vincent's as a Occupational Medicine Physician – Part-Time, No Call in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Occupational Injury care with main focus on difficult injuries and workcomp claims.
  • Fitness for Duty evaluations Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
  • WorkComp claims management and oversight, not limited to causality statements, MMI/PPD, Collaboration with specialists Internal collaboration with Safety, ERGO etc.
  • at the spot Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.

Requirements

-; appeal all denials in a timely manner.

  • Participates in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules.
  • Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
