Job Description
Position Summary
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) provides comprehensive pre-operative evaluations for patients scheduled for surgical procedures through the Hattiesburg Clinic Pre-Operative Clinic. The APP works collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nursing staff, Forrest General Hospital personnel, and other members of the healthcare team to optimize patients for surgery through standardized, evidence-based pre-operative assessment and care coordination. The APP practices in accordance with established clinical protocols and supports pre-operative services across designated clinical locations under Hattiesburg Clinic's agreement with Forrest General Hospital.
Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with national certification
- Active unrestricted state license
Work Schedule
Full time, 40 hours per week
