About the Role

Join HIGHTOP HEALTH LLC as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Hybrid, Competitive Pay in United States.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments of adult patients. (ability to see child/adolescent patients at this location if desired)

Diagnose and treat mental illnesses and disorders including major depressive disorder, bipolar illnesses, ADHD, anxiety disorders, and co

morbid substance misuse

Prescribe medications and monitor effectiveness, side effects, and patients’ preferences to develop an ideal pharmacological regimen

Requirements

Board Certification

Experience with mental health assessment, diagnosis, triage, managing common psychiatric medication and treatment plans, and managing crisis situations in an outpatient setting.

Experience working with Athena (EHR) preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
