Join HIGHTOP HEALTH LLC as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Hybrid, Competitive Pay in United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments of adult patients. (ability to see child/adolescent patients at this location if desired)
- Diagnose and treat mental illnesses and disorders including major depressive disorder, bipolar illnesses, ADHD, anxiety disorders, and co
- morbid substance misuse
- Prescribe medications and monitor effectiveness, side effects, and patients’ preferences to develop an ideal pharmacological regimen
Requirements
- Board Certification
- Experience with mental health assessment, diagnosis, triage, managing common psychiatric medication and treatment plans, and managing crisis situations in an outpatient setting.
- Experience working with Athena (EHR) preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
