Candidates must possess a Master's Degree from an accredited program in speech pathology or an educationally equivalent foreign program accepted by the Indiana PLA. Required credentials include a current Indiana State license and a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA (or eligibility for it), along with Basic Life Support certification.
