About the Position

We have an opportunity for Two (2) Outpatient Therapist's to provide clinical services at our Central Clinic in Medford, Oregon. The Outpatient Therapists make a meaningful impact within a collaborative, multidisciplinary network of medical providers, case managers, peer supports, and employment specialists.

In this role, your clinical voice is valued and empowered as you deliver holistic, acuity-based behavioral health care through meaningful client assessments, tailored treatment plans, and active team synergy to drive positive, long-term patient outcomes for the Southern Oregon community.

In addition, you will receive crisis de-escalation training, which requires performing various physical, hands-on maneuvers and techniques.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm (Full Time, Day)

What You’ll Make

$6,400 - $7,500 per month DOE/Credentials.

Additional 5% Language Differential offered for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates.

Pay Scale

  • Unlicensed: $6,400 - $7,000 per month
  • Professional Oregon Mental Health License: $7,000 - $7,500 per month

About the Program

Our Outpatient Program provides assessment and evaluation, treatment plan development, and provides clinically indicated outpatient therapy, case management, skills training, and psychiatric (medication) services. The Psychiatric Services Team operates as a branch within the Outpatient Program, specializing in psychiatric, nursing, and medication services. Psychiatric services are provided both on-site and remotely through telemedicine.

ColumbiaCare Services is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.

What You’ll Need

Must be eligible for Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) registration. Eligibility requires:

  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
  • Current LCSW or LPC is Strongly Preferred
  • Unlicensed therapists MUST be actively seeking or willing to obtain licensure.
  • TWO (2) YEARS of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health treatment setting is preferred

If not already registered as a QMHP through the Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO), we will assist you in registering within the first week of employment.

Successful applicants must have the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.

Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to frequently sit, talk, listen, and use hands and fingers. It may require the ability to occasionally walk, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, squat/kneel, and perform other physical tasks as applicable; as well as lift, carry, push, and pull up to 20 pounds.

Key Responsibilities

The Outpatient Therapist provides clinical services including client assessments, tailored treatment plans, and behavioral health care within a multidisciplinary team. They also participate in crisis de-escalation and provide ongoing case management and skills training to patients.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field and be eligible for QMHP registration. Two years of post-graduate clinical experience and current LCSW or LPC licensure are strongly preferred.
