• Full-Time, salaried non-exempt, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, with some weekends, as needed

Your Goals and Objectives Include

The Registered Dietitian also serves as the Dietary/Kitchen supervisor (provides supervision/mentorship to the Lead Chef)

Approves menus including modified diets from the hospital, provides nutritional assessments for patients as needed, and counsel's patients and their families on dietary plans, food selections, preparation and nutritional principles.

Monitors the performance improvement plans of the Dietary Services department and provides input in the development and implementation of patient care plans in relation to nutritional needs.

Coordinate Dietary Services Department within The Joint Commission (TJC) standards

Knowledge of all facets of nutritional and dietary planning, including unique dietary needs of adolescents and adults age groups.

• Master's degree REQUIRED (effective 2020)
• Utah Registered Dietitan (RD) license REQUIRED

Food Handler's Permit Required

One (1) - three (3) years dietitian experience in an acute psychiatric hospital setting preferred.

Strong Knowledge of The JOINT COMMISSION Standards

Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass thorough pre-employment background check and drug test
