About the Role

We're looking for a BCBA to anchor the clinical side of a first-of-its-kind effort: bringing BrainyAct, Kinuu's gamification-based neurolearning platform for people ages 6 to 30 with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and related neurodevelopmental conditions, under Wisconsin Medicaid coverage.

This is not a traditional clinic caseload. You will be the enrolled Behavioral Treatment Licensed Supervisor of record for our Wisconsin Medicaid work, the person who makes our behavioral treatment services billable, defensible, and audit-ready, while helping translate a digital therapeutic into sound clinical practice. It is a founding role with real ownership and the chance to build the clinical infrastructure from the ground up.

What you will own

Clinical Supervision and Service Delivery

• Be the licensed supervisor of record. Enroll individually with Wisconsin Medicaid (ForwardHealth) as the supervising and rendering provider so BrainyAct can bill Behavioral Treatment Benefit services.

• Supervise the treatment team. Direct and clinically supervise behavioral treatment technicians and RBTs delivering service, ensuring competent, ethical, data-driven programming that meets BACB supervision standards.

• Meet the member observation standard. Directly observe each member in person for at least one hour every 60 to 75 days, counted from the member's first date of service, documented by progress notes and supervisory claims.

• Meet the technician direction standard. Provide at least one hour of face-to-face case supervision, with the member present, for every 10 hours of direct treatment delivered by technicians.

• Own the clinical work. Conduct behavioral assessments, write and revise individualized treatment and behavior plans, and interpret progress-monitoring data.

Wisconsin Medicaid and Compliance

• Drive authorizations. Prepare prior authorization requests and medical-necessity documentation for the Behavioral Treatment Benefit.

• Keep us audit-ready. Maintain supervision logs, session notes, treatment plans, and claims consistent with ForwardHealth Behavioral Treatment Benefit policy, applicable recordkeeping provisions, and the BACB Ethics Code.

• Support enrollment and credentialing. Partner with Clinical Operations on ForwardHealth FFS and Family Care MCO requirements as we expand coverage.

Program Build and Payor Credibility

• Translate the platform into clinical protocols. Turn the BrainyAct platform and the Pyramid of Development framework into defensible assessment batteries, treatment protocols, and progress-monitoring aligned to payor expectations.

• Design compliant remote workflows. Help build telehealth and supervision workflows that still satisfy Wisconsin's in-person observation requirement, which cannot be met remotely.

• Uphold honest evidence. Support accurate outcomes reporting and efficacy work with academic partners, and hold the line on data integrity in every external claim.

Required Qualifications

• Current BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB, with no disciplinary sanctions.

• Wisconsin Behavior Analyst license active through DSPS, or current BCBA certification with the ability to obtain Wisconsin licensure promptly through reciprocity (LicensE portal; no additional state exam required).

• ForwardHealth enrollable with no OIG or state Medicaid exclusions and no history that would bar enrollment as a Wisconsin behavioral treatment provider.

• Able to meet the in-person observation requirement.

• Master's degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, education, or a related field, with BACB-verified coursework and supervised fieldwork.

Preferred Qualifications

• Wisconsin Behavioral Treatment Benefit experience, including prior authorization and supervising technicians or RBTs.

• Digital health or telehealth experience in technology-enabled care delivery.

• Breadth beyond autism, with familiarity across ADHD, dyslexia, and broader neurodevelopmental populations.

• Startup readiness, comfortable building clinical infrastructure in an early-stage company rather than inheriting it.

Location and Schedule

Wisconsin-based is required, or willingness to relocate, because the role carries in-person observation obligations for Wisconsin members that cannot be met remotely. Monday to Friday, 9 a. m. to 5 p. m., with the flexibility to schedule member observations.
