Key Responsibilities
The Behavioral Health Counselor provides advanced clinical assessments, therapeutic interventions, and person-centered treatment plans for individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health needs. They collaborate with support teams, families, and stakeholders to develop and implement effective behavioral supports in home and community settings.
Requirements
Candidates must meet the Positive Support Analyst standards under Minnesota Statutes 245D.091 and possess at least one year of experience in behavioral health and disability services. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a criminal background check are mandatory.
