*Evaluates and re-evaluates referred patients ability to perform functional skills and plans a treatment program designed to meet identified goals

*Initiates communication with physicians and other professionals to ensure coordination of treatment efforts. Contacts family members and outside agents.

Maintains ongoing communication with immediate Supervisor, subordinates, and peers

*Performs other job-related duties within job scope as requested by Supervisor

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of Accredited School of Occupational Therapy is required.

Licensure

  • Current National Occupational Therapy Certification/ Registration and Licensed

Occupational Therapist in the State of Florida is required.

The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients' functional abilities and develops personalized treatment programs to meet identified goals. They also coordinate care by communicating with physicians, family members, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy and hold a current Florida state license. A valid National Occupational Therapy Certification and BLS certification from the American Heart Association are also required.
