The pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care by reviewing medication orders, monitoring therapeutic outcomes, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective therapy. They are also responsible for dispensing medications, overseeing technician activities, and adhering to strict safety guidelines for sterile and hazardous medication preparation.
Candidates must hold a PharmD degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy and possess an active New Jersey Board of Pharmacy license. A minimum of two years of previous hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.
