Key Responsibilities

• Assists the teacher to prepare the classroom for class (clean desks, handout pencils, folders, needed materials, etc.

• ) Set up necessary material for classes, interactive/hands-on activities as directed by the teacher.

• Review material taught in class with individual students with learning challenges.

• Work with individual students or smaller groups of students for remedial teaching and/or reinforcing the learning process as directed by the teacher.

Requirements

• Prefer Bachelor’s Degree, required Associates Degree.

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience working with youth in a classroom setting.

• Must have a current, valid driver’s license per Agency guidelines.

• Incumbents must clear the NYS Child Abuse Registry and pass physical exam.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary: $21 - $21.80/hr

Work Schedule

• Full-Time position.

• Call responsibilities required.
